Our lovely home here at Clemson House is currently full of upstanding citizens falling into line under wonderfully trained leaders. This hierarchy of power proves to be a blessing in all of our lives. Without good leaders in our dorm, or in society for that matter, structure falls to the wayside. For instance, the survival of primitive cavemen depended on such structure provided by leaders of the pack. Leaders provide inspiration, group motivation and a sense of survival. Leaders in the cavemen era prevented humans from running aimlessly and slaughtering each other for food. Now by no means do I expect that to occur in Clemson House. I hope the majority of our residents are a bit more civilized than this. Now to mention, the dining hall food just isnt THAT terrible. However, without leadership in place barbarianism is entirely possible. But we must be the change we want to see in the world. And today that change is lack of barbarianism. Personally, I hope to be such a leader to prevent barbarianism, cannibalism, and obnoxious noise during quite hours. I feel this may be quite a task with rambunctious college kids but I am willing to accept that challenge.
Thank you, goodnight, and our RA can suck it.
